We are on the back half of 2026 now and we are still going strong! Best of Super Juniors from NJPW and some good stuff from Stardom and AJPW. Random Lucha from CMLL and a smaller promotion, and ever some WWE stuff. On top of that, AEW continues to be unstoppable this year with great TV matches and a Show of the Year contender with Forbidden Door 2026, which had my current Match of the Year!

Champion Carnival 2026 Block A Match: Kento Miyahara vs. Yuma Anzai at AJPW Champion Carnival 2026 Night 3: A really good back and forth battle of the aging Ace and the Ace in waiting. Things start off nice and even with both men getting the better of the other with some lock-ups and early exchanges. We get a bit of brawling on the floor and some nice aggression from both men early on. However, things get more heated when Anzai is able to take control and starts working over Kento, including choking him on the ropes. Kento responds to this by firing back with some brutal strikes and headbutts as if he is offended at Anzai daring to try and look stronger than him. Kento firmly takes back control and works over Anzai with a Boston Crab and seems to treat him like a little brother as he playfully slaps him. Anzai isn't going down easy though and starts to fire back on Kento with some big strikes of his own as things pick up. We get some great back and forth offense and near-falls from both men. Really love that late into the match Kento starts using the Blackout Knee to land a big strike on Anzai, until Anzai is able to block a Blackout with a Jumping High Knee of his own for a great counter. As time runs down, both men look for the killing blow but neither are able to hit it. Anzai lifts Kento for the Gimlet but Kento slips out and traps his arms for the Shutdown German Suplex but just as Kento lifts Anzai up time runs out and we have a draw! A really good match from these rivals and I like that Kento is still able to bully Anzai at times as the reigning Ace while Anzai is able to match him time and time again. The finish was super well done as it protects both guys while putting the idea in your head that Kento might have had this match won with just a little more time. ****

No Count-Outs Match for the AEW World Championship: MJF (c) vs. Rush at AEW Dynamite 6/3: A fun and heated TV match. Both men come out swinging and get right into the action. MJF tries to play with Rush by spitting in his face and poking him in the eyes but Rush still takes control with some nice aggressive offense as the match goes to the floor early. Nice little brawl on the floor before the match returns to the ring and Rush tries to run MJF into an exposed turnbuckle. Referee stops Rush but when Rush pushes him out of the way, MJF slams Rush into the exposed turnbuckle to bust him open. MJF gets some heat and opens up Rush more before we get a fun spot with MJF trying for the same trick, but this time Rush runs him into the turnbuckle. Now it's Rush's turn to take control for a bit before MJF is able to cut him off by going after the left arm and locking in the Salt of the Earth, but Rush makes it to the ropes. MJF tries for a Heatseeker but Rush rocks him with a headbutt and nails a nasty Piledriver on the apron! The ringside doctor tries to call the match due to the damage done to MJF's neck and Rush's shoulder but Rush headbutts him and gets MJF back in the ring. Bull's Horn by Rush and a cover! But MJF gets his hand on the ropes! Rush tries for another piledriver on the apron but his shoulder won't let him lift MJF, who rolls to the floor. Rush charges for a dropkick but instead hits the barricade, which smashes into pieces! MJF hits a Tombstone on Rush onto the pieces of the barricade but damages his own knee in the process! MJF slowly gets Rush back to the ring and tries for a Heatseeker but Rush pushes him off and MJF lands badly on his knee again. Rush tries to take advantage but takes too long going to the top and misses a top rope dropkick. MJF locks in a Crossface and Rush flips MJF off before passing out rather than tapping. MJF retains! Just a fun hard hitting match! Really liked Rush's aggression all match and that his injured shoulder, due to MJF working him over, made it so that he couldn't hit offense and had to rely on his strikes. Unfortunately MJF was able to find a way to get in a submission and make him pass out. Good stuff! **** 

AEW TNT Championship Match: Kevin Knight (c) vs. "Speedball" Mike Bailey at AEW Dynamite 6/3: A really good match between these former teammates. Some quick exchanges in the opening minutes do a nice job of highlighting the story of the match: Knight is the stronger of the two but Bailey is faster and the better striker. A lot of great counters from both men as they know each other so well but I love that Bailey's strikes are able to keep cutting off Knight's momentum at a moment's notice. Bailey is able to start gaining some momentum as the match goes on, including an awesome spot where he anticipates Knight leaping to avoid a kick and instead goes high to drill Knight with a kick! Knight is able to trick Bailey into going high risk and cuts him off to start working the back but Bailey is still too quick and goes for a series of quick pin attempts. We get an exciting back and forth as Bailey goes for Ultimo Weapon but Knight counters with a Hurricanrana and a Backbreaker for 2. Bailey nails another kick to send Knight in the corner and looks for the Flamingo Driver but Knight is able to hold on to block it. Bailey goes to the top with Knight as Jake Doyle draws the referee's attention and Don Callis trips Bailey up top. An insane Top Rope Spinebuster by Knight that looks to break Bailey in half! Crash Landing by Knight, who gets the win. A very good match that allowed Bailey to show his abilities and Knight to showcase his new heel style. Finish nicely protects Bailey while getting more heat on Knight and keeping this feud open for later. ****

Owen Hart Foundation 2026 Men's Tournament Semi-Final Match: Will Ospreay vs. Mark Davis at AEW Dynamite 6/3: A really good back and forth battle of teammates turned foes. We get right into the action as Ospreay uses his speed to try and pick apart the big man Davis, who looks to just hammer Ospreay into defeat. We get a ton of back and forth action right away all while keeping the story of the match right in the center of it all. Ospreay tries to go after Davis' left arm with Death Ground but Davis counters it into a Powerbomb and a brutal looking Piledriver for a near-fall. Davis tries to piledrive Ospreay on the apron like he did in their last match but Ospreay counters with a rana to send Davis to the floor. Davis manages to make it back in the ring before the 10 count but Ospreay comes flying in with a dropkick! Styles Clash but only gets a 2! Davis catches Ospreay on an Oscutter but misses an enziguri and hits the referee. Hidden Blade to Davis but no referee! All hell breaks loose as members of the Don Callis Family and Death Riders rush the ring and attack each other while the crowd is losing their minds! They all brawl to the back as Kyle Fletcher looks to attack Ospreay with a screwdriver! Konosuke Takeshita stops Fletcher and they fight off! Davis goes to hit Ospreay with the screwdriver but Ospreay knocks it out of his hand and hits the Hidden Blade! Cover but still no referee! We get a new referee in but it's only a 2 count! Ospreay tries for another Hidden Blade but Davis catches him with a Piledriver! Still only 2! My God! Davis looks for a big Lariat but Ospreay counters into Death Ground and Davis has to tap out! What a fucking match! While the referee bump and all the run-ins were a bit much, the crowd was going insane for it all so it worked here. The action and storytelling of the match was great and nicely played off Davis' past win over Ospreay. In this match though, Ospreay was able to survive Davis'  big bombs, chip away at him and get the submission win. ****

El Clon vs. Mascara Dorada at CMLL Domingo Familiar 5/24: A super fun and stereotypical Lucha match. We start off with some quick wrestling exchanges from both men until El Clon is able to dodge a dive and Dorada crashes into the barricade. El Clon goes to work on Dorada for some heat and we get some impressive offense from him. Really love how unique and different El Clon's offense is even when doing simple moves. Dorada is able to make a comeback and we get an awesome back and forth as these two go all out with big dives and offense. Dorada goes for a step-up Hurricanrana up top but El Clon stops him and hits a Made in Japan variation from Bret's rope to get the win. Just a super fun match from these two with a simple and easy to follow story all match. ****

Copa Jr. VIP 2026 Final Match: Villano III Jr. vs. Zandokan Jr. at CMLL Viernes Espectacular 5/29: A really good match of speed vs. power. We get some early wrestling back and forth before Villano pushes the pace and starts using his speed and agility to take over. Zandokan is able to cut Villano off and plays the role of rudo well by using his power offense to get heat on Villano and just mockingly work him over. Villano is able to mount a quick comeback but misses a Moonsault to the outside and brutally bounces off the ringside floor! Good Lord! Some good near-falls before Villano is able to rally yet again and hits a Jay Driller and a Springboard Moonsault for the cover and the win! Just a really good match that highlights everything great about the Lucha style. Zandokan looked like a beast all match, only for Villano to fight from underneath and get the win. ****

10,000 Peso Match: Gringo Loco, Iron Kid, Turbo and Vengador vs. Bandido, Noisy Boy, Spider Fly and Zonik at RIOT Lo Mismo Pero Sin Cambios: An incredible spot-fest match! Bell sounds and we get right into the action! Everyone gets a chance to shine in the ring with some quick exchanges and back and forth offense all while the crowd is going wild. Things naturally pick up as the teams start hitting some big dives on the outside. We get a bit of storytelling to the match as Vengador targets Zonik, the smallest member of the techno team, and the rudos are able to isolate and work him over. Really enjoyed the heat segment here as the 4 rudos just beat down the little Luchador with little grace or style compared to the rest of the action in the match. Noisy Boy and Spider Fly are able to come to Zonik's rescue and get the technos back in the match as things pick up once again. More wild spots including an insane double chicken spot that ends with Zonik hitting a Destroyer on one of the rudos, although the spot kind of fell apart it still looked awesome! Technos take out the rudos with dives to the outside, which allows Bandido to hit the 21-Plex on Vengador to get the win!  Just an easy match to sit back and watch 8 men go wild! I enjoyed the little bits of storytelling we got but this was all about the action, which the crowd was going absolutely wild for. ****

Cincinnati Street Fight: Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, PAC, Daniel Garcia and Marina Shafir vs. Shane Taylor, Lee Moriarty, The Infantry and Trish Adora at AEW Collision 6/13-Summer Blockbuster 2026: A very fun and wild brawl of a match. STP jumps the Death Riders before they even enter the building during their entrance and we are off. The Infantry take out Claudio by burying him under metal bike racks so STP has the numbers advantage as the fight makes its way into the building and down to ringside. Some good action from everyone as weapons start getting introduced and Taylor busts open Moxley with brass knuckles. Claudio makes his big return and runs wild for a bit to get the Death Rides back in the match, even Giant Swinging Trish for Marina to dropkick. The violence picks up as more weapons come into play with Claudio powerbombing Bravo through a table and Dean busting open Garcia with brass knuckles and stomping him into a chair. STP triple powerbomb Moxley through a table and Marina is left to fend for herself. Marina puts up a nice fight but STP stops her and removes her boots and socks before dropping her feet first into thumb tacks and broken glass! Jesus! But Marina still fights back with her feet covered in tacks! Awesome spot! Death Riders rally and start to make a comeback. Moriarty locks Garcia in the Border City Stretch but Garcia stabs his hand with glass to break the hold! Death Riders are able to isolate Taylor before Moxley finishes him with a Paradigm Shift for the win. A really good brawl with some great highlights sprinkled throughout the match. STP looked dominant at times but got outmatched against the tough as hell Death Riders, who picked up the win. ****

Best of the Super Junior 33 Block A Match: Master Wato vs. Kosei Fujita at NJPW Best of the Super Junior 33 Night 5: A really well done and heated fight from these two. Wato goes right after Fujita from the start and things break down into a brawl early. Fujita is able to fight back and hits an awesome dropkick sending Wato into rows of chairs. Back in the ring, Fujita goes to work on Wato's knee for some heat, which allows Wato to fight from underneath. Some great strikes and kicks from Wato before locking in La Caratera to force Fujita to fight to the ropes. We get a nice strike exchange as both men lay in every strike and make them feel personal. Fujita gets the best of the exchange and starts laying in some big bombs including Wato's own Recientemente for a near-fall. Fujita tries for Thrill Ride but Wato is able to land on his feet and levels Fujita with a big Lariat! Recientemente by Wato for a near-fall of his own before the Tsutenkaku German gets Wato the win! This was a ton of fun and felt like a big feud match from these two. Wato brought a great level of intensity to his offense and looked better than he has in years while Fujita played the cocky young punk very well all match. Wato gets a big win over what could be a future rival. ****

Best of the Super Junior 33 Block A Match: Titan vs. Kosei Fujita at NJPW Best of the Super Junior 33 Night 11: A really fun battle of speed vs. power. Things start off with some nice back and forth exchanges before Fujita is able to ground Titan and goes to work on him with holds and submissions. Great spot early on of Titan trying for a springboard but Fujita catches him in an armbar right to the mat and tries to tie him up. Looked awesome and super smooth! Titan is able to fight back by utilizing his quickness to land some big strikes and offense including a pair of dives to the outside. We get a bit more back and forth as both men trade some stiff strikes and big bombs before Titan tries for Llave Inmortal. However, Fujita is able to counter before Titan gets it locked in and traps Titan in the Nemosu Special for a beautiful counter. Titan is able to fight his way to the ropes to break the hold before Fujita is able to trap the arms to stay in the match. Fujita keeps on Titan with a trio of German Suplexes but Titan is able to rock Fujita enough to go up top and nails the Double Stomp! Only a 2 count! Titan tries for Llave Inmortal again but Fujita rolls through the hold and lifts Titan up to hit Thrill Ride! Cover and Fujita gets the win! Really good match as both men played to their strengths with Fujita trying to wrestle and work submissions while Titan used his speed and quick offense. Titan tried to secure the win with his own submission but ended up playing right into Fujita's hand and allowed him to get the win. ****

Best of the Super Junior 33 Block A Match: Kosei Fujita vs. Daiki Nagai at NJPW Best of the Super Junior 33 Night 12: A short but fiery match from both these guys! Daiki hits Fujita with a dive as he makes his entrance and we are off! Daiki looks to move fast and try for the upset but Fujita isn't a pushover and is quick to cut off Daiki's early momentum. A vicious bodyslam on the floor, tossing Daiki into some chairs and a big dropkick on the floor puts Fujita firmly in control. Fujita gets Daiki in the ring and goes to work on him with a great cockiness at being able to handle the young lion. Daiki is able to make a few small comebacks to get the crowd behind him, and even locks in the Young Lion Boston Crab! Fujita is able to fight out of the hold and locks Daiki in an armbar before trapping his limb to try and force a tap but Daiki makes it to the ropes as the crowd cheers him on! Fujita mockingly picks up Daiki, even though he is all but spent, and Daiki spits in Fujita's face! A brutal stiff headbutt by Fujita before he locks in a Lion Tamer and Daiki is out! Referee calls for the bell and it's over! Great stuff here with the younger Daiki fighting to prove himself to the fans and his opponent. Fujita was able to stop Daiki's flurry early in the match but wasn't able to put him away as easily as he thought. Daiki failed to get any points in the tournament but proved that he would go down fighting. ****

AEW International Championship Match: Konosuke Takeshita (c) vs. Ricochet at AEW Dynamite 6/24: A very fun back and forth match. Ricochet jump starts the match by throwing his ring jacket at Takeshita before the bell and hits him with a knee. A pair of dives by Ricochet keeps Takeshita on the defensive followed by a 450 in the ring for a nice early near-fall. From there, Ricochet tries to keep pushing the pace and landing quick offense while Takeshita fights back with some big strikes and bombs. Some nice storytelling in that as soon as Takeshita is able to get a hold of Ricochet, he is able to throw him around with ease so Ricochet needs to keep moving to avoid Takeshita. Some incredible back and forth sequences with both men going counter for counter and getting in some really good near-falls. Ricochet scores with a Shooting Star Press for a 2 count but gets cut off when going to the top again. Takeshita goes for an Avalanche German Suplex but Ricochet flips out and lands on his feet! Spirit Gun but Takeshita avoids it and hits a Last Ride for a 2 count of his own! Powerdrive Knee but Ricochet pulls the referee in the way to stop Takeshita and Ricochet nails a headbutt and a Ricosault for another 2 count! Another Spirit Gun is blocked by Takeshita, who nails the Powerdrive Knee and a Raging Fire to get the win. Just an awesome bell to bell match. These two had great chemistry and were able to pull off some incredible exchanges before Ricochet had to try and cheat to steal a win. However, Takeshita was able to overcome that and retain. Good stuff! ****

IWGP Women's Championship Match: Syuri (c) vs. Megan Bayne at Stardom All-Star Grand Queendom 2026: A really good David vs. Goliath match. Bayne goes right to work on Syuri by tossing her around and manhandling her with ease with her power and size. Syuri does a nice job fighting from underneath all match as her usual style of offense isn't as effective against Bayne so Syuri needs to rely on her strikes to chip away at Bayne. Really good back and forth flow to the match as each woman is able to take over from time to time but neither is able to maintain control for long. Lots of big offense from both women but Bayne gets frustrated at Syuri kicking out of the Fate's Decent and Powerbomb so tries going for a Moonsault and Syuri catches her with a German off the top! Syuri is finally able to wear down Bayne enough to get her down and trap her arm for a submission. Syuri is able to work the hold on deeper to tie up Bayne and force her to tap out and retain. Really good storytelling all match but the action felt a little repetitive at times with both women just hitting a lot of big bombs back and forth. Syuri wearing down Bayne all match and it finally paying off at the end was really well done though. ****

World of Stardom Championship Match: Saya Kamitani (c) vs. Sayaka Kurara at Stardom All-Star Grand Queendom 2026: A really good back and forth battle from these two. We start off with some nice mat wrestling from both women before Sayaka starts pushing the pace more, only to miss a dive on the outside and crashes into her stablemates. Saya ups the aggression by choking Sayaka with a chain and throwing her into the chairs at ringside before almost getting a count-out win when the fight goes up the ramp. Saya stays in control and gets some heat while Sayaka nicely fighting back for some hope spots. As the match goes on, Sayaka starts to gain more and more on Saya, even getting her in a choke for a long time before Saya is able to make it to the ropes. Feeling the match slipping, Saya starts going for bigger and bigger bombs on Sayaka including an Avalanche Star Crusher! HATE and Cosmic Angels get involved and brawl with each other, even breaking up a pin when Saya hits the Twilight Dream, before we get back to just the two combatants. A Spear by Sayaka but Saya just barely kicks out until a 450 by Sayaka finishes it and we have a new champion! Just a great match with these two women going all out. I really liked Saya, almost overlooking Sayaka until she kept right up with Saya and started to gain on her. Could have gone without the stables getting involved though. In the end, Sayaka overcame Saya to unseat her in a pretty shocking result. ****

The Young Bucks vs. Shingo Takagi and Titan vs. Mistico and Mascara Dorada at AEW/NJPW/CMLL/Stardom Forbidden Door 2026: A super fun spotfest match. Each team brought something interesting to the table with the Bucks being the better team with incredible teamwork, Shingo and Titan having a nice power/speed combination to their offense and Mistico and Dorada having amazing Lucha skills and working at a faster pace. Tons of action, counters and sequences all match with everyone getting a chance to shine. Really enjoyed Shingo being the sole power guy in the match so he became a target for the other two teams to work together to take out. Tons of big near-falls down the stretch that the crowd was going nuts for before the Bucks hit Titan with a TK Driver and got the win. Exactly the kind of match you would want and would expect from these 3 teams. Just a wild ride of a match from beginning to end with everyone showing off. ****1/4

Kenny Omega vs. Zack Sabre Jr. at AEW/NJPW/CMLL/Stardom Forbidden Door 2026: An excellent battle of technical wrestling vs. striking. Both men start off with some grappling before Omega is able to gain the upper hand by making the match more of a physical fight. Sabre fights back by going after Omega's right arm to try and take away his strikes and offense. Really cool spot on the outside as Omega looks to put Sabre through one of the announce tables but Sabre traps him in an Octopus Hold on top of the table until Omega just collapses from the hold and falls off the table. Match gets back in the ring as Sabre works the arm and tries to wear down Omega but Omega is able to land some nice effective shots to rock Sabre and mount a comeback. Sabre stays alive in the match though as he is able to counter some of Omega's offense and we get an excellent back and forth from these two. Tons of great counters, sequences and near-falls from both men as the bigger bombs start coming out. Omega starts looking for the One-Winged Angel but Sabre is able to slip out and nail a Zack Driver for a close near-fall. Sabre goes back to the arm but Omega is able to land a Snap Dragon and a V-Trigger before looking for the One-Winged Angel again. Sabre counters once more and traps Omega in a Triangle Choke but Omega is able to lift Sabre and powerbomb out of it! Kamigoye by Omega, who finally hits the One-Winged Angel for the win! An incredible back and forth match with two men that worked their style of match to damn near perfection. Sabre wanted to wrestle and work over Omega all match while Omega was able to punish him with big strikes and bombs. Really enjoyed Omega fighting for the One-Winged Angel down the stretch, only for Sabre to keep countering it until Omega literally hammered the fight out of him and finished him off. ****3/4

AEW Continental Championship Match: Jon Moxley (c) vs. Bandido at AEW/NJPW/CMLL/Stardom Forbidden Door 2026: A great back and forth fight from these two! We start off with some quick holds and exchanges with Bandido being the faster of the two and Moxley the bigger and maybe stronger. Bandido tries to push the pace early while Moxley tries to keep things more mat based and a fight. Moxley is finally able to cut off Bandido's early momentum with a Piledriver on the steel steps to bust open Bandido! From there, it is classic Moxley as he rips at Bandido's mask and opens him up more as he works him over. Moxley lays in some punches in the corner but Bandido is able to counter with a Powerbomb where he literally tosses Moxley! Bandido fires back on Moxley and we get a hell of a back and forth of both men hitting each other with some big bombs. Bandido tries for the 21-Plex but Moxley cuts him off with a Lariat and hits a Death Rider for a nice near-fall. Moxley tries for an Avalanche Death Rider but Bandido is able to lift him up and hits a Moonsault Slam off the top! 21-Plex is set and Bandido goes for it but Moxley is able to slip out and locks Bandido in a choke! Bandido rolls back for a pin but Moxley kicks out and switches to a Bulldog Choke! Bandido is able to fight to his feet with Moxley still having the hold locked on so Bandido says a prayer and drops back to slam Moxley to the mat but Moxley keeps the hold on! Bandido has to tap out and it's over! I loved this match. Great wrestling all match with Bandido getting some nice shine early until Moxley cut him off, busted him open and got some heat on him. A great comeback by Bandido until he failed to hit the 21-Plex and Moxley got in a choke. Bandido fighting to his feet and knowing he had only one way to break the hold was super well done and this time, the risk was not worth the reward as Bandido had to tap out. ****1/4

Owen Hart Foundation 2026 Women's Tournament Final Match: Mercedes Mone vs. Maya World at AEW/NJPW/CMLL/Stardom Forbidden Door 2026: A really great battle of the established star vs. the up and coming rookie. Maya catches Mone early with a few pin attempts before Mone takes over with her wrestling abilities and goes to work on her. The match follows a very simple story with Mone being the clearly more experienced wrestler and able to control the match most of the time while Maya has to fight from underneath for every opening and near-fall she gets. Mone lays into Maya with Meteoras and the Three Amigos before going for a Frog Splash but Maya gets her knees up. A trio of Fallaway Slams by Maya capped off with the last one sending Mone to the outside and Maya follows up with a nice dive. We get a bit of back and forth from both women including Maya kicking out of the Mone Maker for a nice near-fall, which frustrates Mone. Maya is able to get Mone in the Statement Maker but Mone is able to counter into one of her! Maya refuses to tap out and even tries to counter into a roll-up but Mone hits a Mone Backstabber and reapplies the Statement Maker for Maya to finally tap out. A really great match that told a nice and effective story. Maya played the inexperienced underdog well and even some of her more awkward offense worked to add to the story. Mone was a perfect heel veteran all match as she overlooked Maya at first but soon found out how tough she was. In the end, Mone was the better woman but Maya proved herself here. ****

Death's Door Match: MJF, Kazuchika Okada, Kyle Fletcher, Kevin Knight, Andrade El Idolo and Jake Doyle vs. Mark Briscoe, Darby Allin, Konosuke Takeshita, Orange Cassidy, Kyle O'Reilly and Roderick Strong at AEW/NJPW/CMLL/Stardom Forbidden Door 2026: A wild and chaotic cage match full of some amazing storytelling! Everyone goes right at it from the start and we get a brawl all around the ring and ringside. Weapons come into play early as the babyfaces get into their backpacks and pull out an NES console that busts open Fletcher, and thumbtacks. O'Reilly and Darby get slammed into the tacks as the heels take over but MJF and Andrade butt heads. We get an awesome back and forth from Okada and Takeshita that ends with Fletcher superkicking Okada by mistake and Takeshita German Suplexing both men. Darby and Knight go at it but Doyle comes to Knight's rescue and helps him hit Darby with a Coast to Coast Dropkick into a chair! MJF launches a chair at Mark's head to bust him open and has Okada open one of the babyface's backpacks only to find Lio Rush inside! Lio runs wild on the heels for a bit before the heels shove him back in the bag and chain it up for a fun spot. Mark clears the ring with a Terry Funk ladder spot as the babyfaces rally. We get a bunch of big spots as Strong Angle Slams Doyle through a table and Takeshita hits Fletcher with a Blue Thunder Bomb off the apron through a table as well! MJF takes out Cassidy with a Diamond Ring shot but Darby stops MJF with a Scorpion Death Drop. Coffin Drop by Darby onto MJF but Knight comes off the top with a UFO Splash to break up the pin, only for Darby to move and Knight crashes onto MJF! Darby chases Knight up the cage with a chair and Knight goes after one of the backpacks left on top of the cage. It's a booby trap and explodes on Knight, who falls off the cage through a stack on tables! Holy Fuck! Darby leaps off the cage with a Coffin Drop onto the heels! In the ring, MJF orders Andrade to hold Mark for him to hit with the Diamond Ring, but Andrade elbows MJF instead! Andrade kicks Doyle in the dick and allows Mark to hit Doyle with the Jay Driller and get the win! This match was awesome! A ton of wild action and some crazy spots. We also got so many great storytelling moments like Andrade turning on the Don Callis Family, Darby wanting revenge on Knight and Takeshita, Okada and Fletcher going after each other. What a match! ****3/4 

Owen Hart Foundation 2026 Men's Tournament Final Match: Will Ospreay vs. Swerve Strickland at AEW/NJPW/CMLL/Stardom Forbidden Door 2026: An absolutely incredible back and forth fight from these two! Both men come out the gate swinging and going for big shots early before Swerve rolls to the floor to avoid a Hidden Blade. Swerve comes back and starts going after Ospreay's neck with his offense in a more targeted strategy. Match spills out to the floor and Swerve exposes the metal of a turnbuckle, only for Ospreay to run him shoulder first into it. Ospreay locks in Death Ground on the floor to work on Swerve's shoulder more until Prince Nana distracts Ospreay. Swerve takes the opening to powerbomb Ospreay on the apron before catapulting him into the exposed metal to bust him open! Ospreay is leaking now as Swerve works him over more with strikes. Ospreay keeps trying to fight back, even hitting a desperation Hidden Blade that Swerve just brushes off before laying out Ospreay with a Hidden Blade of his own! Ospreay is still fighting though and even nails a top rope Hurricanrana before going for an Oscutter that Swerve counters into an Adam Page Dead Eye! Ospreay rolls to the outside to recover and is able to cut off a Swerve Stomp into a Styles Clash attempt but instead just swings Swerve face first into the steel steps! Swerve is pouring blood now as well! Jesus! Ospreay goes right after Swerve with some vicious punches but again, Nana draws his attention and allows Swerve to recover and go for a Cop Killa. Ospreay fights out of it and instead nails Swerve with the Styles Clash on the announce table! Good Lord! Both men struggle to their feet as Ospreay makes it to the ring first and Swerve just beats the count-out at 9. Ospreay comes flying at Swerve with a dropkick before an Oscutter gets him a 2 count. We get an insane back and forth as both men go for their best shots and get some close near-falls ending with a 1 count on both a House Call and Hidden Blade before a double clothesline takes both men down. The two men stare each other down and charge but Ospreay is faster and hits the Hidden Blade! Stormbreaker! 2 count! Swerve pulls the referee in the way of a Hidden Blade and kicks Ospreay low! Cop Killa! Only 2 again! A Hidden Blade by Swerve followed by Big Pressure! Cover! Ospreay kicks out! Holy Fuck! The Death Riders come to the ringside and cheer on Ospreay as Swerve lands a House Call BUT Ospreay doesn't go down and instead fights to his feet! Hidden Blade by Ospreay! A Buckshot Hidden Blade for 2! Ospreay knows what he needs to do! Paradigm Shift from Ospreay, then a Death Rider! Ospreay rolls though and hits the fucking Tiger Driver! It's over! Ospreay wins the Owen and is going to Wembley Stadium! What a goddamn match! These two went all out here and told a hell of a story doing it. Swerve tried to pick apart the faster Ospreay, only for Ospreay to start working over Swerve right back. From there, things got bloody and violent as both men were busted open and doing everything they could to put the other down. Amazing back and forth action and near-falls before an incredible finish as Ospreay fought through all the pain to finally win the Owen and punch his ticket to main event Wembley! What a fucking match! 5 Stars! *****

Triple Threat Match for the Undisputed WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Sami Zayn vs. Gunther at WWE Night of Champions 2026: An exciting match with some well done storytelling. We start off and right away Sami and Gunther try and get rid of each other to go after Cody. Meanwhile, Cody does a nice job of being a fighting champion as he is willing to stay in the ring and fight whomever is in with him while the two heels try and neutralize each other. Lots of big offense early as everyone is trying to get the win as fast as possible. Cody nails Gunther with a Cross Rhodes for a cover but Sami pulls the referee from the ring to keep the match going. Gunther comes back like a monster and hits Powerbombs on both men for near-falls before Sami counters another Poweromb with a Code Red! Helluva Kick in the corner by Sami and a cover but this time, Cody pulls the referee out of the ring! Great touch there. Sami and Cody fight on the floor with Sami trying to hit a Package Piledriver on the announce table but Cody backdrops him through the other one! Gunther is back again and powerbombs Cody through the announce table and gets him back in the ring to lock in a sleeper! Cody is fading but Sami stops his arm from dropping! Gunther beats the hell out of Sami for making the save but Sami counters with an Exploder Suplex into the corner! Helluva Kick again but Gunther kicks out! Cody comes in with a Cody Cutter on Gunther but Sami hits Cody with a Cross Rhodes of his own. Sami locks Gunther in a sleeper and the big man seems to be fading! Cody is back and Cross Rhodes both men! Gunther rolls to the outside as Cody goes for one more Cross Rhodes on Sami but Sami counters for a roll-up and gets the 3! Sami Zayn is the WWE Champion! What a moment! Very typical WWE 3 way match as we got the classic 2 in, 1 out style. I really liked Sami and Gunther wanting to fight Cody, and Cody willing to take on both men. A lot of great back and forth action and I liked a lot of near-falls coming because of the third man in the match making the saves. Cody is able to take out Gunther but was caught off guard by Sami, who all but stole one from Cody. ****1/4
